Matt Townley

Matt has always been an entrepreneur. Following his father's lead, he founded his first company before he could drive and never looked back.

Since then he's built and run several companies, including Gorilla Creative, Dayframe, and EZ File Drop. Years of working across the technical, creative, and business sides of production gave him a knack for connecting the parts of a project that usually don't talk to each other, and a low tolerance for tools that make simple things harder than they need to be.

He's curious by nature and always chasing the next thing to learn. Lately that's meant a lot of tinkering with tech, smart home gear, and 3D printing. Matt holds a B.S. in Information Technology and Visual Communication.

He and his wife have two spirited sons and two scrambled-egg-loving standard poodles. Most weekends you'll find them outside together, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, or skiing, and most evenings he and his wife are working through another documentary. He takes his coffee black, will always pick pie over cake, and is happy to argue the case for either.
